Hmmm, Hmmm, Good.

Working in a cubicle farm, you get treated to lots of snacks. One of my top favorites is Dove Chocolate of the dark kind. And recently I was able to find a new treat of the frozen kind. Dove has a new product out there and it perfect. Weird part is that I seem to be the only person at work that has ever seen it. The Dove of the frozen kind I am talking about are Dove Minatures. They are the perfect small after dinner treat. Give them a taste.

Time Change

Well, get ready. The day is coming that I hate and love. Daylight Saving Time . I look forward to the time change because it means longer days and more sunlight. I hate it because I have to wake up earlier. Not bad, but it takes me about a week to get used to the new time and by then I will be heading back to Krakow, Poland to get used to a 6 hour time change.

So don't forget to change you clock on April 2.

Compost

Lat night, I was sitting there in front of the TV watching the show "unwrapped" on the Food TV. One of the "unwrapped" foods was Biota and how there water bottles are Biodegradable. 80 days after drinking it, the bottle is nothing but dirt. Go to Biota Bottle to learn why this happens.
Go to Biota Video to see the video of the bottle decomposing.

I thought this was a pretty good concept and wondered why a small water company could do this, but the big dogs like Pepsi and Coke could not find a way to do this. I am guessing that it is not cost effective for the big dogs to do this and that is why they have never pursued it.

Commi Tour

If you know me or have read past post, you know that I have been to Krakow, Poland a few times and scheduled to return in the very near future. I have racked my brain trying to find things to do on my down time.

I was able to find a Commi Tour. They drive you around the old Communist parts of Krakow, Poland in a authenic Commi car (found below).

Click here for more information on the Commi Tour.

10 days and not a drink.

For those that do not know me, I am not talking about alchohol. I am really trying hard to quit drinking Mountain Dew So far, I have not had a Mountain Dew for 10 days. I have replaced it with Dasani Water.

It will be even tougher when I go to Krakow, Poland to keep away from the Dew especially with the time difference.

Wish me luck.

American Idol, not.

I am not much of an American Idol fan, but I have flipped through the channels and watched a portion of the show. I have seen this guy Kevin and I do not believe he is idol material. He might be perfect for the Nickleodeon. Vote for the Worst seems to have lots of people that feel the same way I do about Chiken Little.

Mexican

I was online looking for the Mexican horn that plays " La Cucaracha", just to see if it was out there. I looked at JC Whitney to see if they had the horn and typed in the word "mexican". To my surprise, a horn did not pop up on the page. Instead Glasscapes Window Graphics popped up.

What is JC Whitney trying to say? Do only Mexicans use Window Graphics?

Here is the link and a screen shot.

Action.

I found this at engadget and I have got to get this or at least something similar. It is a new Digital Camera by Samsung which comes with an external camera lens. The SC-X205L can be found at Samsung.

The SC-X205L would be great for trail riding in Moab or any trail for that matter. This would even be cool to use when I rent/buy that bicycle cruiser in Krakow, Poland. I could even video my bicycle ride around the Planty.

If you know of any better alternatives to this camera, let me know.

Throw me a roll.

If you have ever been to Lambert's, you know all about their "throwed rolls". These rolls are great. The other day, I was craving a "Throwed Roll" and looked the recipe up on the internet. I found a recipe at Recipe Zaar and figured I would give it a try.

The rolls seemed to be easy to make, but were not as big, fluffy and buttery as the ones made at Lambert's . Mine turned out to be small and soft, but did not have the same flavor. I will give it another try soon. I took some pics of the rolls and will post those on here later.

Another good ride

Ride #3 for the year. Feeling better now that I have 3 rides under my belt. Stanky was not that bad even though it rained its arse off the other day. The usual places were wet, but it was not that muddy at all. Ryan and I did one lap. Great Ride.

Pimp my shoes

I saw these at engadget.com. Of course, it was about time someone came out with this product. So the company that brought you the spinner shoes came out with an MP3 Player shoe. My guess is that Tony Roy wishes these were bicycle shoes.

More details can be found at Dada Shoes.

Get out of my way.

After having 3 people cut me off yesterday, I purchased what I have been putting off for a while. There seems to be that a good number of Memphis Drivers that have no driving etiquette. You have the usual person crossing three lanes of traffic to get to the turning lane going 2 mph.

My horn doesn't seem to be doing the job, because they seem to not be able to hear my weak Jeep Horn. So, I purchased the Hella Twin Supertone Horn, which is 118 dB.

If they can't hear me now, they don't need to be on the road.

Stanky Radiator

Ok, my radiator is not Stanky. Today I took the day off to take my Jeep to Bartlett Tire to get my leaky radiator fixed for a second time this week (they didn't have the parts on Saturday). I figured, since I am out in the Bartlett Area, I need to take the mountain bike out and do a lap at Stanky Creek. I rode the White and Yellow Trail and rode for about one hour and 10 minutes. Not bad for the second time on the bike this year. A litle saddle sore, but I felt really good after the ride. After the ride, I picked up the Jeep and headed home.

SUV

If you have an SUV, please learn to park it in the first try. If you can't park in the first try, park far away from all the other cars. Today, I was at the New Collierville Mall and SUV had to back in and out five times just to get into the parking spot. You should have to pass a parking test before even buying an SUV.

Stanky Ride

Ryan and I rode a lap of the Stanky Creek Trail today after not being on the bike for quite a while. It was a nice one hour and 10 minutes. Great ride and glad to have been on the bike. I did feel the burn a little in my legs and will probably wake up Sunday Saddle Sore.

Stanky Creek was in great condition and all creek crossing has bridges. Thanks to MSTA . I hope they keep up the good work. I look forward to riding Herb Parsons and seeing all the improvements made by MSTA.

The Skyway

Here is an event I would definately start training for just to be able to say that I did it. The first of its kind took place on February 8th in St. Paul, Minnesota. It is actually a bicycle reace that takes place in the St. Paul Skyways.

At first, I thought this was a hoax when I saw it posted at MSTA, but actually found more information at Minnesota Off Road Cyclist and some video at WCCO-TV .

If anyone is interested, we need to start doing some research on when it will be held next year and finding a way to enter the race/ride.

Stanky Ride

I am looking forward to tomorrow. I will actually be riding my mountian bike after being off it for a long, long time. Ryan and I will be hitting the Stanky Creek Trail in the am. I need to prepare and get those tires and shox aired up.

Here is what I will be riding.

His page was last updated on December 1, 2004 and many probably check it to see if he has updated it.

I actually emailed him asking, "why don't you use Blogger or some other blog type company?" No major html needed except for the template design. It is easier to post changes daily even hourly, as you can see at Zack Perry who uses Typepad.com.

Hopefully, this will get him to update his page more regularly. Using the services above even allow you to update your blog via email or cell. So even the busiest person can post an update more regularly than once every two years.

Here is a mock up of what his site would look like on blogger. It can be found Tony Roy on Blogger .
