Our Jenn-Air Gas Grill temporarily died. It needs new burners, which we are unable to locate because 3 different manufacturers make grills for Jenn-Air and neither one can tells us who made it.
So, to keep up the Winter Grilling Tradition we purchased a Char-Grill Charcoal Grill for about $119.00. The taste seemed to be significantly better than if cooked on the Gas Grill. It does take a little longer to cook on a Charcoal grill, but the flavor is well worth it. The Gas Grill is perfect if you just need something small and need it quick. There have been many time when I just wanted to cook a small steak or burger. Gas you just light it up and start grilling. If it was a Charcoal Grill, I would have to light the charcoal, wait for it to turn grey, cook, and then later clean up the ashes. Definitely, not worth is for a quick burger or steak, but perfect for a handful of steaks and burgers.
What do you use? Why Gas over Charcoal?
Here is the Charcoal Grill we purchased. It can be found at
